Nature Hike Program

Ages: 6-12

Tuesdays 4-6 PM

March 5th - April 23rd

This program involves the exploration of local natural areas through hiking/walking on trails. While it seems to be a rather simple idea, there is so much more than just walking involved. We will be doing nature crafts and art, identifying local botanicals, discussing the ecology surrounding us, playing outdoor games and building team skills, and more. The exact activities corresponding to these subjects are flexible, as they are catered to the children that are attending this particular program session and their ages/abilities.
