Kids Gardening

At Caulbridge School

Ages 3-7

This camp focuses on the skills needed to cultivate, care for, and harvest in the farm and gardens at the Caulbridge School campus. Each day students will learn how to tend to different fruits, veggies and herbs. We will develop our observation skills through careful seeding, watering, transplanting, and measuring plants and food in the garden.

Teamwork is essential in the garden. Classmates work together to achieve a common goal such as caring for seedlings and moving mulch and soil.

Students will feel proud of the challenges that they overcome, happy with their harvests, and will have a sense of ownership in farm and gardens through all of the work they put in during their week of camp.
